According to a SBS "8 News" report broadcast on the 3rd, the police booked four people around Yoo Ah-in on charges of violating drug management and converted them into suspects. The four are writers and YouTubers from art colleges, who revealed close friendships with Yoo Ah-in.

These are the people who entered the country together when Yoo Ah-in came from the U.S. on February 5th, and although they were witnesses at the beginning of the investigation, they are suspected of helping Yoo Ah-in take drugs or taking them directly. At the end of last month, some people tested positive for marijuana during the additional seizure and search of their residences.

The police also found circumstantial evidence that Yoo Ah-in was prescribed by proxy for Zolpidem. Zolpidem is used as a treatment for insomnia, but since it is classified as a drug, it is recommended that only up to 28 tablets per month be prescribed to a person based on 10mg. As overlapping prescriptions became difficult, Yoo Ah-in is believed to have received proxy prescriptions several times through multiple neighbors.

The police are investigating about ten hospitals that overprescribed propofol or Zolpidem on his behalf.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ah-in is accused of administering propofol more than 100 times over the past two years and also taking marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine. Since then, additional Zolpidem prescriptions have been confirmed.

Yoo Ah-in attended the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Drug Crime Investigation Unit on the 27th of last month and was summoned for the first time being. At the time, he apologized, saying, "I was in the wrong and in self-rationalization that my deviant acts do no harm to anyone".
