G-Dragon Hospitalized for Ankle Injury

G-Dragon of boy band Big Bang has been hospitalized with an ankle injury.

He was admitted to a university hospital in Seoul on Thursday to undergo surgery.

He had complained of pain in his right ankle even before his enlistment.

His management agency said that G-Dragon will return to his military base in a few days as soon as he recovers.

G-Dragon has been fulfilling his mandatory military duties since late February after completing six weeks of basic combat training.
