Go Hyun-jung as An Idol Producer in "Namib"

The original Genie TV drama "Namib", starring Go Hyun-jung, will air in the second half of this year.

"Namib" depicts a star-birth project between Kang Soo-hyeon (by Go Hyun-jung), a fired star producer, and Yoo Jin-woo (Ryeoun), a released long-term trainee. It captures the process of the two characters going beyond emptiness and anxiety to achieve new harmony.

Go Hyun-jung plays Kang Soo-hyeon, a former co-chairman of Pandora Entertainment and star producer, who fights for her son even after being kicked out of the company. Ryeoun plays Yoo Jin-woo, a long-term trainee who is selected by Kang Soo-hyeon and goes on training to become a star. In addition, Yoon Sang-hyun will play the role of Kang Soo-hyeon's husband and former music producer Sim Joon-seok, and Lee Jin-woo-III will add depth to the drama as the son of Kang Soo-hyeon and Sim Joon-seok

The way they overcome the difficulties they face in each other's lives and grow together is expected to impress and empathize with many viewers. Attention is focusing on how Kang Soo-hyeon, Yoo Jin-woo, Sim Joon-seok, and Sim Jin-woo's journey through different life hardships and dreams will be depicted.
