Go Joon-hee Explains Burning Sun Rumor in Tears

Actress Go Joon-hee thanked netizens for their support after the Burning Sun rumor was explained.

Go Joon-hee posted a lengthy post on Instagram on the 4th, saying, "Thank you for your encouragement and support. The past five to six years have passed like a beacon light".

She said, "I read every single comment and they have been very comforting to me. I think my parents, who were more troubled than I was, got a lot of healing and comfort as well".

She added, "Shin Dong-yup, thank you so much. I was so happy to hear from you".

Earlier, Go Joon-hee suffered from the 2019 'Burning Sun Actress' rumors. Amid the controversy, Go Joon-hee was notified of her removal from the drama she was scheduled to appear in and had to take a long hiatus.

Since then, Go Joon-hee has had a court battle, suing the haters who have been spreading groundless malicious rumors. In May 2020, she said, "The long fight against groundless rumors is over. I thank the lawyers who have helped me so well when I didn't know anything about going into a legal fight".

Go Joon-hee, who announced her return in earnest by appearing on tvN's entertainment show "Truth or Setting: An Elegant Life" in April, appeared on YouTube and addressed the injustice by directly mentioning the Burning Sun rumor at the time. Go Joon-hee, who recently appeared on a YouTube TV show hosted by Shin Dong-yup, also shed tears, saying, "I thought I could work again quickly because it wasn't me, but I didn't know that 5-6 years would pass by just like that".
