Go Soo and Kwon Yuri in "Parole Examiner Lee"

Go Soo and Kwon Yuri will visit the small screen as "Parole Examiner Lee" in the second half of this year.

KT Group held a media day at Dongdaemun Novotel Ambassador in Seoul on the 29th and unveiled a new lineup of ENA entertainment and studio Genie dramas in 2024.

Actors Go Soo and Kwon Yuri will make a comeback in the second half of this year through "Parole Examiner Lee" produced by Studio Genie. It will be aired on tvN in the second half of this year.

"Parole Examiner Lee" is a story about Lee Han-shin, who became a parole examiner for revenge, who executes justice with enormous power to decide whether inmates will be paroled or not. The grand prize winners of the "KT Studio Genie Series Competition" will include Go Soo, Kwon Yuri and Baek Ji-won. It will be aired on tvN in the second half of this year.

On this day, Studio Genie released a lineup of 14 original dramas this year, including Lee Min-ki, Kwak Sun-young, and Heo Sung-tae's "Crash" (directed by Park Joon-woo, writer Oh Soo-jin-I), which will premiere on May 13th.

The thriller "Your Honor - 2024" by Son Hyun-joo and Kim Myung-min, "Brewing Love" by Kim Sejeong and Lee Jong-won-I, "Namib" starring Go Hyun-jung and Ryeoun, "Dear Hyeri" by Shin Hye-sun and Lee Jin-uk, "Good Woman Boo Se-mi", "Riding Life", "Hang In There, Doctor", "Road of Money", "The Underworld Bank", "Sinnu of Hash", "New Recruit - Season 3", and "Not Others - Season 2".

"It is difficult for new studios to develop overseas markets. Last year, our production made good results by selling 14 works overseas", said Kim Cheol-yeon, CEO of Studio Genie. "This year, we are going to make an evolution based on our own IP. If we focused on overseas sales last year, we will try to enter the studio (through our own IP) this year".
