MBC drama "Golden Time" started off with an interesting spread out.

Medical drama "Golden Time" is based in an emergency room with doctor Choi In-hyeok (Lee Sung-min) who struggles to save lives of severe patients, Lee Min woo (Lee Sun-kyun) who chose to be a clinical lecturer who lends names in a oriental clinic instead of the tough life of a doctor and Kang Jane (Hwang Jung-eum) who is the heir to the Sejong Foundation but puts herself through harsh internship.
After seeing In-hyeok do all his might to save those involved in a ten-car accident and watching a child die because of him, Min-woo decides to become a doctor again.
Just like the medical drama it is, "Golden Time" quickly stations surgical scenes in emergency situations and expresses the crowds of the hospital so realistically.
Lee Sung-min firmed his base with the heavily accented tone and Lee Sun-kyun is so realistic about his character that he looks 'pathetic'. Lastly, Hwang Jung-eum gave up make up to be able to show the simple Jane.
However, the viewing rate was a little disappointing. Producer Kwon Seok-jang and Le Seon-gyoon have come together once again but the drama ended up being last with 8.7%.
Medical dramas such as "General Hospital", "White Tower", "Surgeon Bong Dal-hee" and others until now have created a myth with excellent reviews. Only time will tell if "Golden Time" will continued the success history of medical dramas.
