Gong Myung, "My character Bi-ryeom was exactly like my personality"

Actor Gong Myung revealed his photoshoot featured in the fashion magazine ELLE September edition. He received praises for his latest drama, "The Bride of Habaek" and proved himself as one of the hottest actors of 2017.

The concept of the photoshoot was "natural" so Gong Myung was in a relaxed pose with sentimental eyes.

In the interview held after the photoshoot, he honestly shared his feelings towards his acting career and his life as a 24-year-old young man. Regarding his character in "The Bride of Habaek", he said, "In the drama, I showed a young and energetic image. It was so easy to act this way because my personality is similar to the personality of my character. The only difference we have is the fact that my character was a god. However, when it comes to feeling free and having a pure heart, it's not much different from myself".

Gong Myung said that the past five years in acting have helped him gain trust in the job. He said, "My trust in the work is affecting the person Gong Myung in such positive way. I think that it's so fun, the fact I can meet myself in a way that I wasn't aware of".
