Netflix announced on the 17th that Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-jin will appear in "The Trunk".

"The Trunk" is a Netflix series about a secret wedding service that begins to be revealed by a trunk floating by a lake and a strange marriage between two a man and a woman. It is based on Kim Ryeo-ryung's novel of the same name, who is known as an extraordinary storyteller in the Korean literary world, such as "Punch" and "Thread of Lies".

The director is Kim Kyoo-tae, who is recognized for his delicate and detailed directing skills such as "Our Blues", "It's Okay, That's Love" and "Live". The script is written by Park Eun-yeong-I, who wrote the drama "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth".

Gong Yoo and Seo Hyun-ji will work together for the first time with "The Trunk". Gong Yoo plays Jeong-won, a music producer who has been eroded by anxiety and loneliness due to past pain, while Seo Hyun-jin plays an employee of a fixed-term marriage matching company who ends four marriages and meets Jeong-won as her fifth spouse.
