"Good Partner" Jang Nara Not Aiming for the Grand Award

Actress Jang Nara of "Good Partner" revealed that she gave up her greed for acting.

Jang Nara met with Star News on the 23rd to welcome the end of the SBS drama "Good Partner".

"Good Partner" is a cold and hot legal drama between Cha Eun-kyeong, a star lawyer whose calling is divorce, and Han Yoo-ri, a lawyer new to divorce. The drama, which started with a high viewer rating of 7.8% from the first episode, ended with 15.2% after garnering the highest viewer rating of 17.7% (episode 7). Jang Nara plays the role of Cha Eun-kyeong in the drama. Cha Eun-kyeong has been a divorce lawyer for 17 years and is a partner lawyer at a large law firm, Daejung.

As this drama opened the second half of this year in good vibes, many people expect Jang Nara to win the Grand Prize in acting. In response, Jang Nara said, "I have no greed for it. In fact, the Grand Prize in Music is an amazing career. Recalling the past, I wasn't great at all, but luck followed every path. I was lucky everything went well. It was like a movie".

"I don't like it when my life becomes rough the moment I start expecting a prize. If I live intending to win awards, it will be difficult to choose a work", she said. "Since I was young, I had a lot of restrictions on scripts and roles due to my voice. My biggest hope is that my work will be successful and I hope to get different scenarios".

"I think I will continue to go in the same direction as usual. I want to see a production that makes a big difference", she said. "I want to show you a variety of things. My preference is thriller and occult. There is "H.I.T", a drama starring Ko Hyun-jung, and it has a proper mix of acting and thrillers. I really want to try this and I enjoyed watching "The Guest - Drama". I want a thriller as my next step".
