The new JTBC drama "Graceful Friends" released character posters of Yu Jun-sang, Song Yoon-ah, Bae Soo-bin and Han Da-gam. The secret hiddens in their elegant smiles arouse curiosity. Another highly anticipated film, "Graceful Friends", is a mystery drama about friends of 20 years and their companions, whose sudden death of a friend caused a rift in their lives. The changes and cracks that come to them at halftime in their lives give them a sense of reality and stimulate thrilling suspense. Above all, Yu Jun-sang, who is active as an 'all-rounder' regardless of genre, and creditable actress Song Yoon-ah returns to drama after two years. On top of that, the fantasy combination of Bae Soo-bin and the irreplaceable sense of charm of Han Da-gam is heating up expectations.
The more "Graceful Friends" is unveiled, the higher the expectations are. The poster of Yu Jun-sang, Song Yoon-ah, Bae Soo-bin and Han Da-gam, which was released on the same day, is also drawing keen attention. First, Yu Jun-sang, who plays Ahn Goong-cheol, appears to be synchronized with his character with warm eyes and a gentle smile. But contrary to his relaxed expression, he says, "I don't believe my friend or my wife are like that...", heralding a change in him. Ahn Goong-cheol is always perfect at home as a loving husband and a shrewd manager at work. The question rises on what shocking event that shakes up his quiet life.
Song Yoon-ah, whose transformation is looked forward to, shows off her unrivaled presence with a graceful aura. Nam Jeong-hae, a perfectionist psychiatrist and Ahn Goong-cheol's wife, is a chic person on the surface, but she is more eager to be loved than anyone else. The words, "How far... do you believe about me?" that seems to be for Ahn Goong-cheol who's changed her, makes even her bright smile mysterious. It stimulates curiosity about the secret behind the 'wannabe' couple, Ahn Goong-cheol and Nam Jeong-hae, who are the envy of everyone.
Bae Soo-bin, who plays Jeong Jae-hoon, a divorced man, overwhelms the atmosphere with his soft charisma. The double aspect hidden in an elegant smile is a key figure that raises questions. The phrase "Time makes a person dull, but sharp", which is added above the coldly refined eyes as if not to be noticed, is significant. This adds to the question of what changes have been made to those who have spent 20 years together.
Han Da-gam draws attention with her innocent and beautiful visuals, as Baek Hae-sook, everyone's first love. Like the phrase "Why do you think I'm here?", she reappears in front of her friends after 20 years of shaking the hearts of her five best friends from college. Along with Baek Hae-sook's 'problematic' comeback, the past and secrets of those who have been hiding are slowly revealed and a dynamic story unfolds.
The production team of "Graceful Friends" said, "The synergy between veteran actors including Yu Jun-sang and Song Yoon-ah is great. You can look forward to a new level of mystery drama that is closely related to reality", they said. "The daily lives of middle-aged friends at the turning point of their lives will stimulate pleasant empathy, and the secrets and twists of the characters surrounding the mystery incident will give thrilling suspense".
