"Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" Beats "The Legend of the Blue Sea" and Ranks 1st for TV Hot Issue Section

"Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" has ranked number 1 for the TV hot issue section for dramas.

Up until last week, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" had ranked first. However, "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" has received twice as much points, beating them this week.

According to the score, "Gobiln" received 7,449 points and ranked first. Taking a look at previous hit dramas, "Descendants of the Sun" hit 5,518 points, "Reply 1988" hit 5,260 points and "Love in the Moonlight" hit 4,720 points. Most recently, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" hit 4,315 points.

The data agency revealed that "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" had done quite a bit of marketing and PR during from the beginning which could have been the reason for their quick success.
