Singer Gummy gave birth to her first child on Thursday, her management agency said Thursday.

"We are sharing news that actor Cho Jung-seok and singer Gummy have welcomed a new family member, and the mother and baby are both healthy", it said. "Gummy gave birth to her first daughter at a hospital in Seoul on the morning of Aug. 6".
It expressed "sincere gratitude for the support and congratulatory messages from many people".
The couple married in December 2018.
