The release of actor Ha Jung-woo's directorial debut "Roller Coaster" has been set for Oct. 17, distributor CJ Entertainment said Thursday.

"Roller Coaster" is a comedy about a pop star whose plane hits severe turbulence.

Ha, who has established himself as a highly acclaimed actor, wrote and directed the movie.
