Namoo announced in a press release that Han met with some 700 local fans at the fan meeting, held July 25 at the Ion Cosmetics Theater 'BRAVA' in Osaka, Japan.
The actress opened the event with a piano performance of famed composer Ennio Morricone's "Love Affair", recited a poem by poet Ryu Shiva and cooked spicy rice cakes for her fans. She also held a hand-shaking session.
A fan meeting official explained, "This is the first time I have seen so many male fans attend a fan meeting. There were people of all ages including couples, teenagers and people in their twenties".
The official added that Hallyu is changing that it is now targeted for the whole family and not only for middle-aged women.
Han, 28, has appeared in several movies and TV series since making her acting debut in 2002. She rose to fame with her roles in MBC's "Be Strong, Geum-Soon!" (2005), historical hit series "Jumong" (2006) and recently in SBS' "Jejoongwon".
The actress also starred in the film "No Mercy" (2010) alongside top Korean actors Sul Kyung-gu and Ryoo Seung-bum.
