SBS said on the 21st that actors Han Ji-hyun, Bae In-hyuk, Kim Hyun-jin-I, Jang Gyuri, Lee Eun-saem and Yang Dong-geun will appear in the new drama "Cheer Up".
"Cheer Up" is a story of young people gathered in a university cheering squad that is failing, leaving behind its brilliant history. It advocates a hot and cool campus mystery romantic comedy. Director Han Tae-seob and writer Cha Hae-won are coming together for it. It depicts the excitement of the first love and the joy of the cheering stage against the backdrop of Yeonhee University's cheering squad.
Han Ji-hyun will play Do Hae-i, a new member of Yeonhee University's cheering squad. She is a freshman in the theology department with a blessed appearance gene, a cheerful personality, and a living ability. Bae In-hyuk plays Park Jeong-woo, the cheerleader. He is always misunderstood as a young old man because he puts principle first, but he is a person with pure romance and a straight heart inside.
Kim Hyun-jin-I will play the role of a new member of the cheering squad, Jang Gyuri of Fromis_9 will play the role of vice president of the cheering squad, and Lee Eun-saem will play Hae-i's best friend. Yang Dong-geun plays the role of Bae Yeong-woong, a senior in the 2002 school year from the cheering squad. The drama comes out at the second half of this year.
