Despite being crippled by narrative predictability, an inconsistent aesthetic, and lacklustre lines, Kim Moon-saeng's "Wonderful Days" (aka "Sky Blue") can still be recognised as a stylistic diamond in the rough. Kim's vision of a distant dystopia is, for the most part, stunning, rich, and speaks to a potential that has yet to resurface.
