[HanCinema's News] Behind-the-scenes Action Stills Released for "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938"

On May 12th, King Kong by Starship released behind-the-scenes photos of Lee Dong-wook at work on "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938" in action scenes. Fans had been expressing much interest in how these scenes were shot, and as expected, the stills show that Lee Dong-wook is making use of wiring and performing his own stunts. In other stills, Lee Dong-wook can be seen handling a gun. "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938" has intrigued many with its exposition of Lee Dong-wook in one-on-one fight scenes.

Relative to the more fantasy romance theming of "Tale of the Nine Tailed" in 2020, period action scenes in "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938" have created different expectations for the prequel drama. According to King Kong by Starship, Lee Dong-wook had consulted extensively with the martial arts team for the best possible performance to capture the hearts of viewers. "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938" had ratings of 7.129% in its second episode which aired on May 7th.
