[HanCinema's News] Cast and Crew Discuss "Dinner Mate"

On May 25th "Dinner Mate" held a press conference. The drama was set to premiere the same day on SBS, and is based on a romantic webtoon. Actors Song Seung-heon, Seo Ji-hye, Lee Ji-hoon, and Son Na-eun, as well as director Ko Jae-hyeon were all in attendance.

Ko Jae-hyeon described "Dinner Mate" as being about people who get over the pain of first love one dinner at a time. He described it as being filled with exciting moments of men and women meeting and asked viewers to hold out high hopes for the project.
Song Seung-heon talked about his character, a neurological specialist who uses food as a healing method, a sort of eccentric doctor. Song Seung-heon also mentioned his character bonding with Seo Ji-hye's because of their shared experience of having been hurt in the past. Seo Ji-hye described her own character as being more youthful and lively, as well as a lot of fun to play. Seo Ji-hye stated that her character is meant to emphasize how "Dinner Mate" isn't just a healing drama.
Son Na-eun's character is a fitness trainer and SNS celebrity, as well as Song Seung-heon's ex-girlfriend. Son Na-eun described her as being more human than she looks. Lee Ji-hoon described his character, rather curiously, largely in terms of Son Na-eun's character, of being a person who loves her.
