[HanCinema's News] Chae Joo-hwa Confirms Pregnancy

Actress and singer Chae Joo-hwa recently confirmed via Instagram that she is five months pregnant. The post was prompted with a commemoration of the eleventh year of her debut in the South Korean entertainment industry with the girl group Hello Venus. Chae Joo-wha then went on to state that she is going to become a mother this year, with a picture of an ultrasound to prove it. Chae Joo-hwa described herself as feeling chronically strange and surprised about the new life growing inside her.

Chae Joo-hwa then wrote that she was waiting with a healthy heart for the birth of her healthy baby angel. Chae Joo-hwa married a non-celebrity ten years her senior in March of last year. Hello Venus broke up in 2019 and Chae Joo-hwa started to do more acting work, most prominently in "Touch" from 2020 as the assistant to the character played by Byun Jung-soo. Chae Joo-hwa has no confirmed upcoming projects, and it is not known when or if she will return to entertainment industry work.
