On March 22nd the JTBC drama "The Good Bad Mother" confirmed that actor Cho Jin-woong would be joining the cast of the healing comedy. He will play the role of Choi Hae-sik, the father of the main character played by Lee Do-hyun who is an amnesiac prosecutor and the husband of the other main character, a tough mom played by Ra Mi-ran. As "The Good Bad Mother" is premised on her raising her son as a widow, it is not known how prominent this role will be.

Cho Jin-woong has not appeared in a named role for a television drama in seven years, his last such significant credit being "Entourage" in 2016. While Cho Jin-woong's role was not described by JTBC as a special appearance, his presence may have been requested by screenwriter Bae Se-young, with whom he worked on "Intimate Strangers" back in 2018. Supposedly he has strong lovey-dovey chemistry with Ra Mi-ran. "The Good Bad Mother" will premiere on JTBC this coming April 26th.
