[HanCinema's News] Choi Hyun-wook and Lee Ju-myoung Talk About "Twenty Five Twenty One" on Radio Program

At two 'o clock in the afternoon on March 22nd actors Choi Hyun-wook and Lee Ju-myoung were guests on the MBC radio program of that timeslot hosted by Ahn Young-mi. The subject was the ongoing television drama "Twenty Five Twenty One" where the two have major supporting roles. Choi Hyun-wook plays a fashionista while Lee Ju-myoung a broadcaster, both seen from their high school years and beyond.

The two discussed recent story elements in the show, with Choi Hyun-wook talking about the postscript of his character having declared his love to the one played by Kim Ji-yeon in the eleventh episode. On a personal level, Lee Ju-myoung mentioned how her mother sent her a text saying she cried every time she saw her daughter on the show, with her friends likewise always ogling her. Choi Hyun-wook joked that his friends like all the parts of "Twenty Five Twenty One" that he's not in.
Choi Hyun-wook and Lee Ju-myoung also discussed social media hype of them to the point that they're little versions of Park Seo-joon and Jeon Ji-hyun. Choi Hyun-wook said that he had heard this comparison in real-life as well. However, Lee Ju-myoung claimed that she had only ever seen it in Internet comments and didn't feel the matter was worth discussing.
In regards to their original auditions, Choi Hyun-wook and Lee Ju-myoung had two very different approaches. Choi Hyun-wook went all-out on confidence. As he focused on this approach, it felt more and more appropriate for the character himself. Lee Ju-myoung. Lee Ju-myoung, by contrast, thought to be authoritative as her first instinct, as befits a disc jockey, but decided against it due to the clash with other aspects of the relevant characterization.
Choi Hyun-wook also had positive comments about their leading co-stars. He described Nam Joo-hyuk as very charming and excellent with ad libs, while Kim Tae-ri is a remarkably good singer. Choi Hyun-wook also spoke a bit about his time doing baseball in school, which has become public knowledge due to social media pictures. Choi Hyun-wook admitted to not remembering this part of his life very well, his quitting in high school due to an arm injury.
