[HanCinema's News] Choi Hyun-wook Confirmed for "Weak Hero Class 1"

The upcoming wavve drama "Weak Hero Class 1" recently confirmed that actor Choi Hyun-wook would be joining the principle cast. He will be playing the role of Ahn Soo-ho, a frank free spirit who is disinterested oin school. Nevertheless, he continues to attend to satisfy a promise with his grandmother. The character is then drawn into a friendship with the other two leads, one played by Park Ji-hoon and the other by Hong Kyung.

The name of the character being played by Hong Kyung has also been confirmed as Beom-seok, though this was already suspected as "Weak Hero Class 1" is an adaptation of the high school themed action webtoon of the same title. The news for Choi Hyun-wook comes as "Twenty Five Twenty One" aired its final episode on April 3rd. Choi Hyun-wook was the second lead in the backwards facing romance drama. "Weak Hero Class 1" is expected to be released to the public in the second half of this year.
