[HanCinema's News] Dexter Studios Publishes MOU With Danal

The VFX production company Dexter Studios announced on March 18th that they had signed a memorandum of understanding with Danal, which provides commerce adjacent services on mobile platforms. The purpose of the new partnership is for Dexter Studios to start working in blockchain and cryptocurrency, and non fungible tokens in particular. It is not yet known what exact form these NFTs may take, or how they will utilize Dexter Studios' technical expertise.

Speculation in cryptocurrency technologies is nothing new in South Korea, with such expansion being led by major companies such as Lotte Cultureworks. There are many possible venues of expansion. These include into virtual reality, augmented reality, extended reality, as well as the Metaverse. Dexter Studios is best known for such blockbuster films as "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" and "Ashfall" among many others.
