[HanCinema's News] Dexter Studios Signs on to Do VFX Work for "Project Silence"
By William Schwartz | Published on
The famed special effects workshop Dexter Studios recently signed a contract to do VFX work for "Project Silence". Dexter Studios is responsible for the special effects of quite a few popular South Korean films, including "Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds" and "Ashfall". The move confirms that "Project Silence" is likely to be the next big spectacle release at the South Korean box office, in spite of the current COVID-19 induced downturn.

"Project Silence" will star Lee Sun-kyun, Ju Ji-hoon, and Kim Hee-won in leading roles. The story takes place on the Incheon bridge, which goes far out into the ocean, and deals with various people who encounter a monster there. "Project Silence" will be directed by Kim Tae-gon, whose last venture as a director was "Familyhood" in 2016. He also worked as a producer for the independent films "The Queen of Crime" and "Microhabitat".
