Following news of a simultaneous release in South Korea and North America, the production company behind "The Killer: A Girl Who Deserves To Die" has announced that rights to the action film have been sold to a total of forty-eight territories. Purportedly the deals were initiated at the Udine Far East Film Festival earlier this year. The film stars Jang Hyuk as a retired hit man who agrees to look after a friend's daughter for his wife in a situation that begins to escalate.

"The Killer: A Girl Who Deserves To Die" was quite popular at the Udine Far East Film Festival, with many local distributors seeing it as an effective piece of South Korean style action with a well-known international star. The movie still doesn't have a clear release date in South Korea, and is still listed as coming out sometime in July. However, Austria, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, and Taiwan among others are all now confirmed to be receiving a domestic release in the near future.
