Actor Do Yu was recently confirmed for the upcoming eight episode drama "Love in the Big City - Drama" that will be premiering on TVING on October 21st. There he will be playing the role of Park Ji-tae, a member of Tiara and the free-spirited friend of the author Go-yeong, to be played by Nam Yoon-su, who's the same age that he is. Ji-tae is depicted as obsessed with physical fitness, yet with a more sensitive personality than might be expected from his muscular appearance.

Do Yu is fairly new to screen acting. The bulk of his work in the entertainment industry to date has been as a model. Do Yu made his acting debut at the age of thirty-one with "Woori the Virgin" and had three more named roles in South Korean dramas that year, with another two roles in 2023. "Love in the Big City - Drama" is based on the 2019 South Korean novel of the same title and the script is penned by Park Sang-young, the author of that original novel.
