The drama has received a large number of ratings and a high overall vote on Chinese rating aggregator sites.

"Extraordinary You" has also shown up frequently in incidents of recorded searches. The online Taiwan video streaming service Over The Top has also contracted with the drama. The interest in "Extraordinary You" has been particularly unusual, because it has fairly weak traditional ratings. However, companies with access to more in-depth information about potential revenues have been taking notice, solidifying the drama's status as a sleeper hit.
