In the latest Good Data report for the third week of October "Extraordinary You" has achieved the top position. This is only the third week in which "Extraordinary You" has been airing. The spike has also been fairly sudden, with the social media metrics analyzed by the report having gained a 75% boost compared to the previous week.

Much of the improvement can be credited to the popularity of "Extraordinary You" on rebroadcast services, especially among younger viewers. "Extraordinary You" leads all other television drama on these services, scoring requests in the hundreds of thousands for recent episodes.
Although "Extraordinary You" showed modest television ratings last week in the four percent range, social media chatter about the drama exploded while the drama was in live broadcasts. This suggests that the drama's younger target audience is particularly attuned to discussing their favorite dramas on social media.
Powerful chemistry between Kim Hye-yoon and Rowoon is a frequently cited source for the drama's online popularity. The two lead actors of the drama ranked number three and number four respectively in the Good Data report's survey of performers. Supporting actor Lee Jae-wook followed them in position number five.
