[HanCinema's News] Final Script for "The Penthouse" Completed

On November 13th a person associated with the production of "The Penthouse" confirmed to a Korean news organization that the drama's script is now complete. Furthermore, according to the present schedule, filming is expected to be completed sometime in late November. The news suggests that the drama is making excellent production time, and has not encountered any inclement delays.

The news is welcome for director Joo Dong-min, who faced bitter criticism over poor shooting conditions at "The Last Empress" which was his previous drama. The news has also tamped down on speculation that the script has been significantly altered to take viewer reactions into account. Going forward, such alterations will be difficult going forward, and outright impossible after the twelfth episode as the production schedule appears to be around two weeks ahead of the official airdate.
"The Penthouse is currently airing on SBS on Mondays and Tuesdays. The drama earned ratings of 14.5% in its most recent episode. The seventh episode of "The Penthouse" will air on November 16th.
