[HanCinema's News] Ha Yeon-soo Inspires Criticism With Instagram Remarks
By William Schwartz | Published on
Ha Yeon-soo has once again upset fans with her attitude on Instagram. On June 18th, she put up a picture of a traditional wall scroll, saying that it was for sale and that it had been made last year. A commenter asked if Ha Yeon-soo made it herself, to which Ha Yeon-soo replied, it feels like I've had to answer this question five hundred times...yes, sir. I've been painting for the last twenty years.

The incident is a repeat of one in 2016 on Instagram where Ha Yeon-soo acted with similar hostility to a commenter who asked for more information about a product she was selling. Another time that year Ha Yeon-soo reacted harshly to a commenter who expressed skepticism about plans she had made to popularize the harp.
That event eventually resulted in an apology where Ha Yeon-soo expressed remorse for her overly rough attitude. It is unclear what may have provoked her reversion. Ha Yeon-soo has put herself in an awkward place by advertising items for sale on social media that is otherwise intended to promote her brand as an actress, blurring boundaries.
