[HanCinema's News] Jung Ji-in-I Confirmed for "High School Return of a Gangster"

Shortly before the premiere of the fantasy time slip gangster drama "High School Return of a Gangster" on OTT platforms, studio the muro confirmed that actress Jung Ji-in-I, who the agency represents, is among the drama's cast. She plays the role of Ye-ji, the student in the same high class as the lead character played by Yoon Chan-young. Ye-ji is one of three girls who are friends with the main character. Another one, Yeon-ji, is played by Kim Se-won.

The press release confirming Jung Ji-in-I's appearance in "High School Return of a Gangster" also mentions roles in "Beyond Evil" and "The 8 Show" which had not previously been credited. This is most likely due to the roles being quite minor. There are only eight characters present for the vast majority of "The 8 Show" with other incidental parts only appearing in the first and last episodes discussing the backstories of these core eight characters.
Jung Ji-in-I's last confirmed role was "Lady of the Storm" back in 2015. Jung Ji-in-I was only born in 1998, so most of her best known work to date was as a child actress. The announcement from studio the muro seems intended in part to emphasize that she is available for her work again, and is still young enough to play a plausible high school student. New episodes of "High School Return of a Gangster" are added to streaming platforms every Wednesday.
