[HanCinema's News] Jung Wook-jin Cast for "Youth of May"

According to Big Boss Entertainment, Jung Wook-jin, who is represented by the agency, will appear in the upcoming Gwangju Uprising era drama "Youth of May" next month. He will be playing the role of Choi Jeong-haeng, a rookie police officer. Once a promising athlete, the character will have fallen into a different line of work. Nevertheless, he has been described as enthusiastic, with a local reputation as a friendly neighborhood watchman.

Jung Wook-jin is originally a musical theater actor. His credits on the stage include the role of Johannes Kepler in the astronomy themed "ARKO LIVE Musical: Sidereus" among others. Recently, he has taken more television roles. Jung Wook-jin made his television debut in "Drama Special - The Long Farewell" back in 2018, and is currently appearing in "Vincenzo" as part of the larger ensemble. "Youth of May" will begin airing on jTBC on May 3rd.
