[HanCinema's News] Kim Chul-yoon Confirmed for "Hijack 1971"

Actor Kim Chul-yoon is among the latest to be confirmed for the upcoming crime action film "Hijack 1971" that will premiere in South Korean theaters on June 21st. Kim Chul-yoon will play the role of Nam-il, a man with a Gangwon accent on his honeymoon who is among those on a plane that is taken over by a hijacker in 1971 era South Korea. He will be one of many characters whose colorful reactions to the incident is expected to heighten the drama.

Kim Chul-yoon has appeared in a wide variety of roles over the years, his most recent one being as a gangster in the noir procedural "Vigilante" on Disney Plus. He also played a North Korean defector in "Dr. Romantic 3" who is accused of murder. He also had named roles in "One Dollar Lawyer" and "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" both from 2022. Kim Chul-yoon has no other confirmed upcoming roles at this time.
