[HanCinema's News] Kim Ji-suk and Lee Ju-myoung Confirmed to Be Dating

On August 14th, rumors exploded that actor Kim Ji-suk and Lee Ju-myoung were dating. Almost immediately, the actors respective talent agencies, Alien Company for Kim Ji-suk and YG Entertainment for Lee Ju-myoung, confirmed that the rumor was true. Purportedly the two continued from a good meeting, and are being watched warmly. A large age gap separates the two, as Kim Ji-suk was born in 1981 and Lee Ju-myoung was borned in 1993.

Part of what spurred the rumor was news that Lee Ju-myoung was planning to leave YG Entertainment and join Alien Company instead. Though they confirmed the rumor, neither agency discussed the extent to which this business decision was motivated by the romantic attachment. Lee Ju-myoung had recently seen a big boost in her profile thanks to the ongoing success of "Pilot" at the box office, may have been another reason why she chose not to renew her contract with YG Entertainment.
It was also not immediately clear from the official statements how the couple first met each other. They have never appeared in the same project, and were represented by different talent agencies. In any case, fans were congratulatory of the couple on social media following confirmation of the rumor.
