[HanCinema's News] Kim Min-jae-I Talks About "Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist - Season 2"

In a recent interview, Kim Min-jae-I claimed to have a disappointed heart that the year he has spent playing the title character of "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" has come to an end with the completion of "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist - Season 2" on February 9th. He further claimed in the February 10th interview that he enjoyed doing a historical costume drama despite the hardships. Kim Min-jae-I also mentioned not being able to sleep on the night of the final broadcast.

Kim Min-jae-I said that this was the longest he had ever worked on a project. So to him, it still doesn't feel like "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" is over. Kim Min-jae-I said it felt like he had worked for almost a year, or a year and two months if prep time is considered. Kim Min-jae-I also admitted to some nervousness over being the headliner, although this dissipated on set thanks to the support senior co-stars and staff.
Consequently, Kim Min-jae-I had a lot of fun. "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" featured Kim Min-jae-I as a disgraced acupuncturist who works alongside a widow who is also a coroner, played by Kim Hyang-gi, and an apothecary played by Kim Sang-kyung, to solve the various medical mysteries ailing people in their neighborhood. The drama ended on February 9th with ratings of 2.388% for the tenth episode of its second season.
