Director Kim Seong-ho and actress Kim Joo-ri have been chosen to lead the opening ceremony for the 11th annual Seoul International Architecture Film Festival. Director Kim Seong-ho is a more intuitive choice for the job than he might seem at first glance.

The man graduated from Yonsei University as an architecture major before earning his master's degree from The New School in architecture and film. His most recent film was "Notebook from My Mother" in 2016.
Kim Joo-ri by contrast does not have much background in architecture to speak of, although she has made a point of participating in a wide variety off offbeat events since being crowned Miss Korea back in 2009. She is currently appearing in a minor supporting role in the daily drama "A Place in the Sun".
The opening ceremony for the Seoul International Architecture Film Festival will be held on September 25th at Ewha University at 7PM at the ECC Theater. The festival will continue until September 29th, showing films at the Art House Momo Theater locating in Ewha University.
