[HanCinema's News] Kim So-yeon Thanks Husband in SBS Drama Awards Acceptance Speech

On December 31st actress Kim So-yeon won the excellence award for "The Penthouse" at the 2020 SBS Drama Awards. This was an honor she shared alongside Lee Ji-ah and Eugene who are also credited as leading actors in the series. Kim So-yeon's acceptance speech has drawn some attention as she credits, among other persons, her husband Lee Sang-woo for her accomplshments in the drama.

First and foremost Kim So-yeon thanked screenwriter Kim Soon-ok of "The Penthouse" for the present of her cool dialog. Then Kim So-yeon thanked director Joo Dong-min for knowing how to slant the dialog in question, and she also thanked the rest of the drama's staff. Kim So-yeon then thanked her mother-in-law and father-in-law for being such fans of her character in spite of the fact that the character Kim So-yeon plays in "The Penthouse" is quite a nasty villain.

Kim So-yeon added that she loved her in-laws, and also that she loved her own parents as well. Then Kim So-yeon mentioned her husband Lee Sang-woo, describing him as the person she wants to see the most and whom she also loves. The pair were married in 2017.
