[HanCinema's News] Kwon Sang-woo Makes Special Appearance in "Why her?"

The first episode of the law school drama "Why Her?" had a surprise guest appearance in the form of Kwon Sang-woo. In "Why Her?" he plays the role of a friendly doctor, Jeong Hyeong-soo, who is the husband to the character played by Cha Chung-hwa, who is the only friend of the lead character played by Seo Hyun-jin. The special appearance was made possible by Kwon Sang-woo's relationship with director Park Soo-jin-II, though it is unclear how they know each other.

The last time Kwon Sang-woo appeared in a television drama was "Delayed Justice" from 2020 where he was the lead. Lately he has been more of a presence in films, ranking high among the supporting cast in "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" from earlier this year. Kwon Sang-woo will also appear as the lead character in the feature film "Switch" and the wavve drama "Desperate Mr. X" which are both expected to be released sometime this year.
