On July 21st Lee Ji-eun posted an Instagram photo of herself and Lee Joon-gi on the set of "Hotel Del Luna". The photo is in reference to a special guest appearance made by Lee Joon-gi on the drama, an appearance organized because Lee Joon-gi wanted to express his friendship to her.

Attached to the photo is a message from Lee Ji-eun. In the message, Lee Ji-eun expresses appreciation for how her fourth prince memorized Latin for the sake of a prayer in his short scene. She described the action as making her feel emotional, with a heart sign punctuating the end of the sentence.
The fourth prince comment is in reference to Lee Joon-gi's role on "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo", where Lee Joon-gi was the leading actor and Lee Ji-eun was the leading actress. Lee Joon-gi also posted a comment stating that he had to leave after the exorcism directed towards Lee Ji-eun's character in "Hotel Del Luna" and punctuated with laughter marks.
Lee Joon-gi appeared in the July 20th broadcast of "Hotel Del Luna" in a cameo appearance as a priest trying to assist in a troublesome situation at the titular hotel. "Hotel Del Luna" airs on Saturdays and Sundays on tvN.
