[HanCinema's News] Lee Min-ki Appears in Photoshoot for Cosmopolitan
By William Schwartz | Published on
On May 20th the fashion magazine Cosmopolitan Korea released new photos of Lee Min-ki from an upcoming photoshoot to be publushed in the magazine. The concept for the shoot is, deliberately late for the last train home, the man of a double life. The photos in question are quite ominous, giving Lee Min-ki a terse expression as he holds a candle stand or stands in front of a painting. The loose look is inspired by "My Liberation Notes" where Lee Min-ki lost six kilograms for the role.

According to Lee Min-ki, his co-star Lee El has described him as looking like a sheet of paper on set. In the accompanying interview, Lee Min-ki said he worked this conceptualization into his character if a man who seems too light for his own good, always focused intensely on cold logic. The full issue with all the photos will be released this coming June. "My Liberation Notes" had ratings of 4.969% in its most recent episode, the 12th, which aired on May 15th.
