[HanCinema's News] Lee Sang-yeob Confirmed for "Eve"
By William Schwartz | Published on
Following the confirmation of Seo Yea-ji as the female lead Lee Ra-el of "Eve" despite the gaslighting scandal surrounding that actress last year, "Eve" has also confirmed actor Lee Sang-yeob in the leading male role. He will play Seo Eun-pyeong, a rookie parliamentary representative. An orphan with a strong sense of justice, he decided to champion the lead character played by Seo Yea-ji following her divorce lawsuit, which makes up the core of the plot.

Lee Sang-yeob last appeared in "On the Verge of Insanity" last year, which dealt with office politics at a large regional company. Park Byung-eun has also been confirmed to play Ra-el's husband Kang Yoon-geom, the leader of a major conglomerate. Yoo Sun has also been confirmed to appear in "Eve" but no details about her character are yet available. "Eve" is expected to begin airing on tvN at some point in the first half of this year.
