On March 1st Starhaus Entertainment confirmed that Lee Tae-ri, who is represented by the agency, will appear in the upcoming television drama "Bloody Heart" on KBS. The historical drama is based on the real-life story of Lee Tae, played by Lee Joon, who ascended to the throne after the death of King Sunjong despite the two being political rivals. For this end, Lee Tae is forced to give up the woman he loves.

One of the major power players in this drama is Park Gye-won, who is played by Jang Hyuk. Lee Tae-ri will play the role of Park Nam-sang, the only son of Park Gye-won. In the context of "Bloody Heart" Park Nam-sang will be embarking on his own political career, and will be doing so with a relatively pure heart. But the various dramas of the story, centered in part around his father, will no doubt change Park Nam-sang's disposition.
Lee Tae-ri has appeared in a wide variety of television dramas in recent years, in named roles that don't typically rise to the level of supporting cast. "True Beauty" and the currently airing "Young Lady and Gentleman" are the two most recent examples of such roles. However, Lee Tae-ri's best known role to date has probably been in "Tale of the Nine Tailed" where he played the fantasy drama's ultimate villain in his reincarnated state. "Bloody Heart" will begin airing in May
