[HanCinema's News] "Love in the Big City" Set to Make International Premieres

Back on October 1st, the romance film "Love in the Big City" saw its premiere in South Korea. It's earned 669,113 admissions to date and is still third place in overall admissions thanks to a small but vocal minority of fans. And this popularity now seems set to extend overseas. Following a successful run at the Hawaii International Film Festival earlier this month, "Love in the Big City" has now sold its distribution rights to forty-five territories as it currently enjoys a run at the Frankfurt Korean Film Festival.

These are not the only international film festivals where "Love in the Big City" has shown its presence. "Love in the Big City" is also ran at the SXSW Sydney Screen Festival, and is currently running at the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival which is running until November 10th. "Love in the Big City" will also appear at the London Korean Film Festival next month, which is scheduled to run from November 6th to November 13th.
Response to these screenings has been positive enough to spur attention from many international distribution companies. There are now rights-holders for "Love in the Big City" in Belize, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, Croatia, El Salvador, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam. "Love in the Big City" stars Kim Go-eun learning about love and life as she works as a writer in Seoul.
