On August 14th, Netflix released its official viewcount for the week of August 5th to August 11th. "Mission Cross" which made its debut on the streaming platform on August 9th was the best performing non-English film on the platform, with 7.8 million hours viewed. "Mission Cross" would have been tied for eighth place if it had been listed alongside English language films- the 4.5 million view figure, which is calculated by dividing hours viewed by runtime, was shared by Jack Reacher.

This was a weak week overall for films on Netflix, as no individual title, English or non-English, had more than 20 million hours viewed on the streaming platform. Serial dramas fared a little better. "Miss Night and Day" had 22.3 million hours viewed in its eighth straight week on Netflix. This was the third highest figure of any series, English or non-English, although the ranked view figure of 1.5 million was quite low, mainly because sixteen hours worth of "Miss Night and Day" content exists.
