[HanCinema's News] "My Dearest Fu Bao" Top South Korean Film at Box Office Over the Weekend

According to figures released by the Korean Film Council on September 9th, "My Dearest Fu Bao" outperformed all other South Korean films at the South Korean box office over the weekend, with 98,792 admissions helping it along to a current cumulative box office total of 158,464 admissions. "My Dearest Fu Bao" was not too far behind Alien: Romulus, which had 119,365 admissions in its fourth straight number one weekend, with 1,845,791 admissions overall.

Third place went to "Pilot" in its sixth weekend. The aviation themed comedy currently has 4,637,067 admissions. Fourth went to the Japanese animated film Look Back in its first weekend, 49,910 admissions for a current total of 79,944 admissions. Fifth place went to "Heartsping: Teenieping of Love" as that animated film 49,768 admissions for a current total of 946,813 admissions.
