[HanCinema's News] New Character Posters Revealed for "Devils Stay"
By William Schwartz | Published on
The upcoming occult horror film "Devils Stay" has just released a second round of character posters. In sinister black-and-white, Park Shin-yang faces forward next to words stating that his daughter isn't dead. In Lee Min-ki's character poster, he states that this daughter's heart was transplanted somewhere. In the final poster, Lee Re, who plays the daughter, asks if her father can hear her.

In all three posters, but most explicitly Lee Re's, the characters are surrounded by dark distortions. However, it also might just be a plant that's colored in a strange way. This metaphor is of obvious relevance to "Devils Stay" itself, where much of the mystery revolves around whether Lee Re's character is really dead, or what happened to her, over the three days of her funeral. The Korean title 사흘 (sa-heul) means three days in litteral Korean translation. "Devils Stay" will be released in South Korean theaters on November 14th.
