On June 21st, Booklog Company confirmed that the upcoming two volume screenplay of "Lovely Runner" which the book company is publishing will indeed have still cut images from the drama within its pages. This is new information about the book which was not released during the initial pre-order phase. The still cut images were selected by screenwriter Lee Si-eun-II, who also includes commentary behind her specific reasoning for the dialog in the relevant scene.

Lee Si-eun-II selected one still cut images from each of the drama's sixteen episodes for these commentaries. Apparently, the reason why Booklog Company did not publicize this feature sooner was because they needed to get legal permission from production companies, broadcasters, and agencies to use the stills. While the commentaries themselves were always planned, Booklog Company believed that they would look more beautiful alongside stills of the relevant scenes.
Only one of the sixteen commentary stills is clearly visible in the image posted on social media, and deals with the eleventh episode. The dialog in question is has the lead character played by Byeon Woo-seok comforting the time traveling leading lady played by Kim Hye-yoon, saying that whatever happens is his choice, not her fault. Lee Si-eun-II claims to have added this dialog to more clearly express what his character is thinking at this moment.
In the original webnovel version of "Lovely Runner" the male lead tends to be portrayed more enigmatically than he is in the television drama. The pages in question only appear in Korean- there's no English translation, though Booklog Company previously claimed that some parts of the book would be in English. "Lovely Runner" finished broadcasting on May 28th. The screenplay will go on sale in South Korea on July 22nd.
