[HanCinema's News] New Profile Picture Released for Lee Jung-won

On August 4th the agency Story&Plus released a new picture for actress Lee Jung-won, who the agency represents. The photo shows the cheerful looking actress making strong positive eye contact. The move appears designed to facilitate Lee Jung-won being cast for new roles, following a popular appearance in the currently airing drama "Hospital Playlist Season 2" where she plays an unnamed surgeon.

Despite not having a named role, Lee Jung-won gained some attention from her appearance in the drama's sixth episode on July 22nd, where the young doctor expressed enthusiasm for participating in her first surgery. At thirty-one years old, Lee Jung-won is young for a doctor but old for an actress, with only two prior screen credits. These include "Schoolgirl" and "Judgment Night".
Both were independent projects, and it is only in "Judgment Night" thaat Lee Jung-won had a featured role. Nevertheless, her enthusiasm is undeniable, and the "Hospital Playlist Season 2" appearance alone may have done much to help attract the attention of casting directors. "Hospital Playlist Season 2" is currently on break, and will air its seventh episode on August 5th.
