On March 10th Family Entertainment released behind-the-scenes stills of Ji An, who is represented by the agency, in the film "Serve the People" in which she stars. These particular stills focus on here wearing youth makeup and old person makeup. For the majority of the movie, Ji An's character is about the same sage as Ji An herself, during a melodramatic period of life where she's involved in a torrid romantic affair.

Despite the makeup, Ji An still maintains her usual cute charm. "Serve the People" has attracted much attention in South Korean social media due to its romantic content and even a bed scene, though its overall reception at the box office was mixed. According to the Korean Film Council, "Serve the People" has had 70,604 admissions as of March 10th. The adaptation of the Yan Lianke novel is currently available to be watched in theaters or on demand in South Korea.
