The upcoming historical spy film "Harbin" is rapidly becoming the most anticipated film of the winter, with the second highest reservations a full twelve days before its official release. New stills from CJ ENM are only further stoking interest in the project. Six images depict characters in a moodily lit train wearing early twentieth century clothes, peering and looking at unseen objects through the brim of their hats, showcasing the skulduggery to be expected from the genre.

Cinematographer Hong Kyung-pyo has discussed his work on the train scene benefiting from his prior work on "Snowpiercer" in 2013, making use of a 1:1 set and maximizing the claustrophic impression of the tight space. Hive Media is behind "Harbin" and are for hoping for another tense winter hit following the success of "12.12: The Day" from the same production company last winter. "Harbin" will premiere in South Korean theaters on December 24th.
